Received call from communication that T.P.D. on site with electrical off at one unit and getting power from another unit. Arrived and unit #1 had the electrical turned off at the meter for lacking payment and the meter had a red tag. The tenant from unit #2 was complaining that smoke was in the unit and was popping breakers at the sub-panel. Did find where an extension cord has been placed at an outlet on the roof for the AC Package unit for unit #2 and giving power to unit #1. T.P.D. did try and gain entry and was not allowed to get the tenants to come out. The front gate was opened by having the maintenance remove a screw that was placed on the gate on the masonry wall. T.P.D. was than able to knock on the door and still no answer but the dogs on the interior of the unit were barking. Due to not able to gain entry, did serve the manager on site with the Notice to Vacate and the Indemnification and she was going to lock the gate. The manager was going to call if the tenants come back out of the unit. Did the posting of "Do Not Enter" on the front gate. Will check the site tomorrow if called. RV. |
