06/09/2016 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, MET WITH TFD CAPTAIN WHO STATED TENANTS IN BOTH UNITS 15 & 16 WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT FLOORS SHIFTING IN THEIR UNITS. SHORTLY AFTER MY ARRIVAL, JESUS FROM HCDD ARRIVED, WE BOTH INSPECTED THE UNITS ALONG WITH FIRE DEPT. INSPECTED FOUR UNITS, 15 & 16 ABOVE AND THE UNITS BELOW EACH ONE. APTS WERE COT PROPERTIES, SEC 8 HOUSING. I CHECKED CRACKING AT THE CEILINGS AND FLOORS, MOVEMENT AROUND DOORS AND WINDOWS, AND UNEVENESS OF FLOORS. FOUND NO ALARMING ISSUES, NO CRACKING, ALL DOORS CABINETS AND WINDOWS WERE ABLE TO BE CLOSED PROPERLY. FLOORS WERE LINOLEUM TILES AND SOME TILES WERE COMING UP OR MOVED. TENNANT MENTIONED WATER HEATERS HAVE BEEN REPLACED DUE TO LEAKING SO IT IS POSSIBLE PLYWOOD GOT WET CAUSING TILE TO LIFT AND PLYWOOD TO GIVE. BUT THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF MOVEMENT. JESUS STATED HE WOULD MENTION TO MARY LOU (LOPEZ) THE COMPLAINT. UNDERSTANDING FROM THE TENNANTS IS THAT THEY ARE BEING ASKED TO MOVE. ALL TENNANTS ARE BEING ASKED TO MOVE. NO VIOLATION / CLOSE CASE. |
