Arrived and the units were still working the fire and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site checking for the cause of the fire. Did get with T.E.P to try and turn the power off to the area of the fire and was not able to. The pull outs were left off at the transformers until and electrician is on site to cut the wires that were burned and to check of the power could be turned back on. Did have some wires that were loose at another location and those needed to be removed or placed to have the proper supports for the wiring and not loose and able to grab from the ground. While Southwest gas was working to cut the gas line due to the damage of the meters and the risers in the area of the fire, a water main line was broken and the water was turned off to the property of 51 trailers. They did get a plumber to come and repair the water line and the water was turned back on after a few hours. While doing an investigation of the fire cause, a body was found and went into crime scene. The electrician did show to the property and went over what areas needed to be addressed to try and get the power back on the property, At this time the power has been removed to all the 51 trailers on the property. The electrician did have to go back to his shop and get what he needed to do the work and a different vehicle. The electrician did make the repairs needed to get the power back on and he did meet with the property manager Jim to go over what needs to be done and other work that is going to be required to have the permit finaled. Did call T.E.P. back to the property and showed what was done to get the power back on and the pull out were put back on at the transformors leaving the mobile home park with power again. Southwest gas was not able to get to the meters that needed to be addressed and will be coming back tomorrow to remove the meters and the riser will be repaired and removed to ground level due to the mobile homes that were damaged will be removed with being demo'ed. The trailers and the addition that were built to the trailers were all a total lost. 4-trailer will be be demolished when completed. Did take pictures and the property manager did sign all the paper work. Did do posting of "Do Not Enter" on the property to all the trailers that were damaged and going to be removed from the mobile home park. Will check in 45 days. RV. |
