Received call from communication that T.P.D. on site with min. housing condition. Arrived and the garage or shop in the rear of the property has been vandilized. The person renting the property has died. The son was on the property checking on what was missing from the building. The building was going to be able to lock. The front structure is collapsing is several areas to where there are openings. The walls are adobe and the stucco covering is also falling in several areas exposing the adobe. The structure is vacant and unsecured at this time. Did get notice that the owner is trying to get the structure demo'ed. Did call the realtor and he is trying to sell the property and checking into getting the structure demo'ed but has no time line for the demo. He will go check the structure tomorrow and will call the owner to let him know what happened on the property. Did do a posting on the front window and did not secure the structure due to has a 6' chain link fence surrounding the property. Will get with the area inspector and do N.O.V. RV. |
