12/18/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received a call from communication that T.P.D. on site with a car through building. Arrived and the vehicle has been removed and on the property. The vehicle was being worked on fixing the brakes and was not able to stop when driving the vehicle. The vehicle hit the west of the unit and pushed the wood frame studs and breaking a few studs. The stucco has cracks and the drywall was cracked and loose. Did have a couple of oulets in the wall but were not damaged but were on the studs that were broken. The tenants were not allowed to remain in the unit until the repairs are made or a contractor states in a letter that it's OK to stay in the unit. The unit is on the bottom floor and has an upper unit what will also be condemned due to the damage in the bottom floor at this time. The electrical is going to be removed and the manager on site is placing the tenants in another unit on the property. Did do the posting on the door to the unit of "Do Not Enter". The manager signed all the paper work. Did have to meet with the tenants due to having a hard understanding that the unit was being condemned and can not stay in the unit at this time due to the amount of damage to the unit. The manager will secure the opening made from the vehicle into the building. Will check in 30 days. RV.
