05/19/2017 ENGINEERING - FINAL Approved AFTER DISCUSSUNG THIS SITE WITH CLAYTON TREVILIYAN THIS SITE IS BEING APPROVED AT THIS TIME IN ITS CURRENT CONDITION AS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLANS WITH THE FOLLOWING NOTIFICATIONS:
1) THE PARKING SPACES AND THE ACCESS AISLES ARE AS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLANS BUT THEY EXCEED THE MAXIMUM SLOPE VALUE IN PORTIONS OF THE RUNNING AND CROSS SLOPES.
2) THE LOCATION OF THE ACCESS AISLE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THE PASSAGE OF PEDESTRIANS FROM THE ACCESS AISLE INTO THE BUILDING CLEARLY. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE MAKING MINOR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE PARKING SPACE LAYOUTS TO ALLOW FOR A 3 FOOT OPENING INTO THE EXISTING DOORWAYS IN THIS AREA.
I HAVE ADVISED THEM TO NOTIFY THE OWNER AND ADVISE HIM THAT THIS AREA DOES NOT MEET THE CURRENT CODES.
05/17/2017 ENGINEERING - FINAL Not ready for Inspection PRELIMINARY INSPECTION AT THIS TIME ONLY, THE FINAL INSPECTIONS WILL BE SCHEDULED NEXT WEET WEEK. I WILL DISCUSS THIS SITE WITH CLAYTON TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH WE WILL BE HOLDING ON ADA FOR THE EXISTING CONDITIONS THAT APPEAR TO BE NON-COMPLIANT.
