12/19/2016 FIRE - FINAL Partial Approval The Fire Code Official is allowing a temporary approval for 30 days. I am requesting that the Architect of record clarify the location of fire dampers and fire smoke dampers on the drawings. I spoke to Joel at Stantec and it is confusing with the notes that were added to the Mechanical drawings and the comments from the building inspector, the location of the required fire dampers and smoke dampers. Plans need to be resubmitted indicating the exact location, how they are actuated and if non-required dampers were installed, then will they be removed or will they be powered in the open position. This temporary approval will expire on 1/19/2017 and the building shall be vacated if items are not satisfied.
12/12/2016 FIRE - FINAL Denied Fire roll up doors need to be verified (kitchen and nurses stations). Provide fire alarm documentation per write up 12-05-2016. Need to check the emergency and exit lighting again. Areas that were checked were not working properly. Break room lights were not on and other areas to the north were not tested due to the breaker being locked out.
