| 09/12/2017 | FIRE - FINAL | Denied | Fire sprinkler needs to have all escutcheons in place. Fire sprinkler FDC needs to read "AUTOSPRNK". FDC needs the proper sign installed. Riser Room, FDC and FACP signs need to be red and white reflective durable material. Fire sprinkler fire line is shut down at the COT side and will need to be activated prior to commissioning the fire sprinkler system. FDC needs KNOX caps to be ordered. Caps shall be installed on the FACP. Verify Thursday that the FDC is free of debris and obstruction prior to capping. Need to test the back flow tampers and water flow. Fire alarm system needs the audibility and intelligibility test performed prior to final commissioning of the fire alarm system. Replace the front vestibule speaker strobe with a strobe only to lessen the reverberation. Multiple smoke detectors are too close to the air registers and need to be relocated greater than but not less than 3' from units. Smoke detectors need to be within 5' of the doors that they are operating. Hall way speaker strobes need to be within 15' of the door they are adjacent to. The fire alarm needs to be properly programmed to reflect accurate room numbers. CO detectors will need to be installed around the gas fire place (both sides) and connected to the fire alarm system. A 100% pre-test to be performed prior to calling the fire alarm final back in. Need to verify the form of communication and off site fire alarm monitoring signals. Property needs to have an address even if temporary. Address shall be: of an approved size, weather resistant and be maintained until replaced with a permanent sign. Fire Department NO Parking signs need to be turned to face the direction of travel. Signs shall be at a minimum of 7' and not more than 10' above the actual ground. Fire Smoke Dampers need to be properly labeled. Fire smoke dampers shall have service access panels installed on them. Full address to be listed on the opposite side from Pima for responding units. Need to verify all 1 and 2 hour fire rated doors. Gaskets on the doors need to be checked as well. Fire extinguishers need to be installed per plan of proper size and type. Add 1 emergency exit light to the west end vestibule. Exit light leading to the hall from work out room needs to be operable. All electrical splices shall be properly capped, covered and or outlet/fixtures installed. Broken windows shall be repaired/replaced. |
