A revision is required as per Sign Code 3-16. Some of the revisions required include but are not limited to 1. Drawings: a. Drawings must be laid out in the format required by the COT. (see attached PDF) b. Remove page 5 from the submittal, (There are no signs on this elevation) c. Each and every sign must have its own letter to match the application.(even if identical to another sign) d. Each and every sign must have its own page.(even if identical to another sign) Ex. Page One is SIGN (A), Page Two is SIGN(B) etc. e. On every page, Elevations must be labeled with the direction they face. EX "North Elevation" f. On every page, Electrical details must include the following statement "24 HOUR programmable timer installed to comply with the COT outdoor lighting code" g. On every page, Electrical details must clearly indicate AMPS, VOLTS & CIRCUITS h. On every page, Electrical details must clearly show and label the disconnect switch. i. On every page, All sign measurements must be indicated in "Feet. Decimal" not "feet.inches" j. On every page,: Measurements on drawings must match the measurements on the application. k. On every page,: The OAH "overall height" of sign must shown on the elevation to match the application. l. Color palette is superfluous information. m. Remove speaker cabinets and clearance bars from the submittal n. Menu board drawing requires dimensions for the OAH, the illuminated cabinets overall width & length. o. Freestanding signs drawings ie: Monument & Menu must be laid out in the format required by the COT. (see attached PDF) p. Site plan for the Monument sign requires a very specific format required by the COT. (see attached PDF) q. Site plan for the Monument sign must be drawn on the Development Plan drawing that is stamped and approved by the City of Tucson Plan Review desk. |
