A revision is required as per Sign Code 3-16. The person that will be making the revisions needs to talk with Brian. Please email Brian at brian.wiese@tucsonaz.gov to schedule a phone meeting to go over the application/drawing. Some of the revisions required include but are not limited to 1. Application: a. Measurements on application do not match the measurements on the drawings. b. The application indicates a Sign (B) but there is no Sign (B) indicated on the drawings. c. “Square Feet” measurements are hand written too small to be legible. 2. Drawings: a. Drawings have not been laid out in the format required by the COT. b. Most measurements are too small and blurry to be legible. c. Page One should only reference Sign (A) d. Page Two should only reference Sign (B) e. Cannot find reference to a sign (B) as indicated on the application. f. All sign measurements must be indicated in “Feet. Decimal” not “feet.inches” g. Measurements on drawings (that are legible) do not match the measurements on the application. h. “Over all Height” OAH of Sign (A) & (B) are not indicated on the drawings. i. Square Footage is not indicated on the drawings. j. Electrical details do not clearly indicate a “Disconnect switch” for Sign (A) & (B) k. Electrical details do not include the following statement “24 HOUR programmable timer installed to comply with the COT outdoor lighting code” l. We have printed the PDF of Dick's (supplied to us) on the largest paper we have “11 x 17”, yet most text is still too small to be legible. m. Twelve (12) pages of extraneous information have been submitted thus far. This submittal with all pertinent information require by the COT should all fit on 3 pages. 3. Location Map: a. Sign (A)is not indicated on the location map. b. Sign (B)is not indicated on the location map. c. Frontage measurement of building is not indicated on the location map. |

| 05/29/2015 | SIGN SITE REVIEW | Correction Required | Submit drawing in approved City of Tucson format for wall signage. The following applies: Sec. 3-23. Special inspector required. A. The following sign types shall be subject to continuous inspection by special inspectors as provided in Chapter 1 of the International Building Code. 1. All detached sign structures exceeding one hundred (100) square feet in area or twenty-five (25) feet in overall height. 2. All signs attached to a building in excess of thirty (30) feet from the bottom of the sign to grade, if, in the opinion of the plans examiner, the subject sign and/or the particular building structure and/or the method of attachment constitutes an unusual and/or dangerous structure and/or attachment. A record of the special inspections shall be submitted to the development services department by the applicant at or prior to final inspection and retained by the development services department with the sign permit application.
