Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a hoarding case. Arrived and fire units have left the site and T.P.D. on site with a death on the property. The tenant was found dead on the bed. The sister of the tenant was on site and gave permission to check the unit. Did go through the unit and unable to get through the unit with out going around storage and trash and debris on the interior of the unit. No clear paths to all doors and windows with no smoke detectors in the unit. The bathroom is cluttered with trash and debris on the floor. The paths that exist through the unit, you have to walk sideways to get through. Did let the sister know that the unit is being condemned. Did call the property manager for the property to let him know what is going on the property of the death and the hoarding. The tenant was in the process of being evicted at this time. The electrical was removed at the meter by T.E.P. and the posting of "Do Not Enter" was posted on the front window. The property manager stated to post the N.O.V. on the front window and he will go by the property on Sunday to pick up the paper work and check the unit. The key was found from the tenant and T.P.D. was going to lock the door once they were completed and placing the key under the floor mat at the front door. There was a dog and taken by the sister. Did talk to the sister on getting a dumpster to have the trash and debris hauled off the property to clean the unit. The sister will call later for the dumpster. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
