11/19/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call from supervisor Rick Saldate that T.F.D. on site with a mobile home fire. Arrived and the fire investigator was on site and the fire happened yesterday and was called due to Redcross was assisting on placement. The fire was in the kitchen and burned in the ceiling area over the sink. The cabinets have some burning and the wood studs have burning at the top plate area. The life line was removed due to the damage to the wiring in the ceiling area and a City of Tucson lock was placed on the box to not allow reconnecting. The breaker has been turned off at the main panel on the side of the mobile home. Have talk to the owner listed for the property and he states that the person staying in the trailer owns the trailer. The people staying are buying the trailer from the owner. The mobile home will not be allowed to be occupied and the person staying in the mobile home signed all the paper work. The damage was minor and once the electrical is repaired and inspected, the person staying in the mobile home will be allowed to stay. The lady is pregant and was advised to limit the time in the mobile home due to the chemicals that were burned. Will place a "Do Not Enter" on the front window. They were going to get items out and had a place to stay for now. The owner of the property will come and check the damage tomorrow. Will check in 30 days. RV.
