11/23/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VIISTED SITE, FIRST MET WITH MANAGER LISA MARTINEZ WHO STATED SHE WAS AWARE OF THE COMPLAINTS FROM THE TENNANT IN UNIT 208, STATED THE ROOFER HAD ALREADY BEEN OUT, CLEANED THE ROOF OF ALL DEBRIS AND PATCHED WHERE THEY THOUGHT THER MIGHT BE A LEAK IN THE AREA, LISA HAD THE ROOFER ON SPEAKER PHONE EXPLAINING EXACTLY WHAT WAS DONE. THEN CALLED DAVID FROM TERMINEX WHO HAD BEEN SCHEDULED TO INSPECT THE FOLLOWING DAY 11/24. RECEIVED A FOLLOW UP CALL FROM DAVID STATING HE DID INSPECT BUT FOUND NO BEDBUGS.
MY INSPECTION OF THE APARTMENT FOUND THE UNIT HAD LITTLE FURNITURE BUT WAS CLEAN, NO TRAD OR DEBRIS AROUND THE UNIT. ONLY FOUND IN THE S/W BEDROOM WHERE THE ROOF HAD LEAKED ONTO THE DROPPED ACOUSTICAL CEILING. REPAIRS ONLY CONSISTED OF REPLACING THE TILES WHICH HAD NOT YET BEEN COMPLETED.
SPOKE WITH RICK SALDATE INFORMED HIM ROOFER HAD BEEN OUT AND TERMINEX COMPLETED INSPECTION BUT FOUND NO BEDBUGS. RICK AGREED A NOV WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE REPLACEMENT OF CEILING TILES DUE TO THE QUICK TURN AROUND OF THE OTHER 2 ISSUES. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
