The wiring from the J-box in the building to a light pole in the parking lot has been changed to new. The colors of the wiring were the same that were installed in the same PVC conduit and all is working at this time. All the wiring has been connected that was pulled apart at the J-box and the drywall has been repaired. No permit is required due to no changes made on the conduit and used the same J-box. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. | |
| 10/31/2015 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | The area was found where the wiring has been shorting out and has been disconnect and able to have the power turned back on for the parking lights. The parking lights have been turned back on and the sound does not exist. Wiring was pulled out where the wiring was shorting out and shows the burning and pulled apart. Due to the time the work will be done on Monday and won't know what has to be done until the work is done. Did go over the issue of needing a permit if removal or replacements are done to make the correction. Did advise to do the work and get the permit the next day. Will need to explain what is being done to make the correction. The contractor will be doing the work on Monday or starting to check what has to be done to do the work. Will check in 5 days. RV. |
