10/09/2015 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | Met with the contractor, the electrical engineer, workers, restoration company and equipment has been installed where moisture is on the carpet and walls. The base board carpet has been removed on the 4th floor hallway and where loose or coming off the wall. The electrical has been put back on the 3rd floor and the owner and the electrical engineer did meet with Jimmy Davis from T.F.D to check the damage. The building section will be keeping contact with everyone on what is going to be done on the repairs. The carpet tiles are going to be removed as of now unless someone can advise that the tiles don't have to be removed and preventing mold. It has been determined that the door to the womens bathroom did hit the sprinkler head and found marks on the door of impact. The engineer did call United Fire back to the site to have the sprinkler head changed to a flush mount head. While on site they were in the process of bleeding the line to remove the water from the line to change the head. Will have to check the other floors if the sprinklers head have to be changed if in the same location on the other floors. The carpet tiles are being assessed if they have to be removed at this time. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
