I ARRIVED TO THE HOTEL AND UNIT 409 HAD A SPRINKLER BREAK IN THE INTERIOR OF THE ROOM WHICH FLOODED THE FLOORING TO UNITS 408 AND 407 POWER WAS SHUT OFF TO THOSE UNITS 409. THE PASSAGEWAY FLOORING WAS ALSO SATURATED IN WATER. THE THIRD FLOOR HAD WATER INTRUSION THOUGHT THE CEILING OF UNITS 309 AND 308 POWER WAS SHUT OFF AND THERE WAS FLOODING TO THE FLOORING IN UNITS 305 AND 306, 307 AND THE PASSAGE AREA. THE 2ND FLOOR HAD WATER INTRUSION THROUGH THE CEILING OF UNITS 208 AND 209 POWER WAS SHUT OFF TO THOSE UNITS. THERE ALSO WAS A FLOODING IN THE PASSAGEWAY.. THE LOWER-LEVEL HAD WATER INTRUSION BY WAY OF THE CEILING IN THE OFFICE AREA AND THE FLOORING OF THE ADJACENT OFFICES

I ASKED THE CHIEF ENGINEER TO TURN OFF POWER TO THE OFFICE AREA AND THE PASSAGEWAY'S LIGHTING. THE 4TH 3RD,2ND FLOOR AND THE FIRST FLOOR OR SEALED OFF BY CAUTION TAPE AND BARRIERS TO PREVENT ENTRY..



HOTEL STAFF WAS EXTRACTING WATER FROM THE FLOODED AREAS. A NOTICE VIOLATION WAS ISSUED TO THE GENERAL MANAGER. NO OCCUPANCY SHALL BE GRANTED UNTIL WATER IS EXTRACTED FROM ALL FLOOD AREAS AND THE AREAS ARE DRY.
A LICENSED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO INSPECT ALL FLOODED AREAS AND ENSURE THAT ALL ELECTRICAL DEVICES ARE SAFE TO RE-ENERGIZE. A LETTERHEAD FROM THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED STATING THE SCOPE OF WORK AND THAT ALL AREAS ARE SAFE TO ENERGIZE. ALL ROOMS LISTED ABOVE SHALL NOT BE OCCUPIED UNTIL ALL CONDITIONS ARE MET PER VIOLATION NOTICE.

THE PACKET HAS THE LIST OF THE PANELS PER FLOOR AND CIRCUITS THAT WERE SHUT OFF..THE CHEIF ENGINEER DID STATE THAT THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM WAS BACK UP AND THE DAMAGED SPRINKLER WAS REPLACED..
