DUE TO THE ROOF COLLAPSING CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SPRINKLER LINE WHICH IN TURN ENDED UP FLOODING THE ENTIRE BUILDING THE ABUTTING AREAS ALSO HAD A CEILING DAMAGE AND ELECTRICAL DAMAGE AS FAR AS EMT RUNS THAT HAVE BEEN DETACHED AND CRUSHED NOT TO MENTION THE LOBBY AREA AS ELECTRICAL, I INSPECT ENTIRE BUILDING AND THE ROOF, THE FLOORING HAS AN EXCESS WATER OF 3 INCHES TO 4 INCHES IN SOME AREAS. I WALKED OVER TO THE REAR OF THE BUILDING, OUTSIDE IN A LOCK CAGE ARE THE MAIN DISCONNECTS, 6 DISCONNECTS ARE OFF THE ENTIRE BUILDING HAS NO POWER AT THIS TIME.. DC RESTORATION IS ON SITE EXTRACTING WATER FROM THE WAREHOUSE THE BUILDING HAS BEEN CONDEMNED, THE BUILDING CAN BE SECURED BY ITS OWN OPENINGS THERE'S NO DAMAGE TO THE OPENINGS IN THE LOBBY AREA THE BUILDING IS IN CONTROL OF, PLANT MANAGER, DC CONTRACTORS WILL BE THE ONES THAT WILL BE SURVEYING THE DAMAGED AREA IN THE MORNING. THE PLAN OF ACTION IS AS FOLLOW DC PLANS TO BRING A CRANE OVER TO REMOVE THE AC UNIT FROM THE ROOF AREA, DUE TO THE UNIT BEING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE COLLAPSED AREA. THEY WILL SURVEY THE ENTIRE AREA THAT WAS DAMAGE AND CONTINUE WITH THE WATER EXTRACTION. THE FIRE INSPECTOR SPOKE WITH PLANT MANAGER AND THEY HAVE SCHEDULED A FIRE WATCH, THE COMPANY ALSO HAS A SECURITY COMPANY ON SITE. |
