Met with the management and they had a water issue with the tub in the bathroom filling up with water and over flowing on the floor and some of the water leaked into the bottom unit. The water leaked on the floor which was extracted that day. Did have some staining on the ceilings where the water was leaking but the drywall was not loose. Did check the smoke detector and it was working. Does have a hard wire and a battery operated smoke detector in the living room which is the common area to the unit. The tenant brought up mold and advised that Code Enforcement does not work with mold issues and will need to call some one that works with mold. Did advised the tenant that I would talk to the management on painting the stains and I will not be back to check if the stains were painted due to will be closing the case. Did advise that if other work is needed to be done on the unit and wants to complain about it not being done, will need to contact the office to create a work order first than if not done to call to make the complaint to Code Enforcement to look at the violation. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
