Received call from Rick Saldate my supervisor that parking has been taken from the parking lot of a Burger King. Did go to the site and the front entrance on one side of 22nd St. has been blocked off with a tent for fire works. Did meet with Burger King and they have nothing to do with the fire works other than that approval has been given from corporate to sale fire works from the parking lot. All permits were to be given from the company selling the fire works. Did meet with the person in charge of the tent and asked for the copies of the permit and the plans approved of the location placing the tent. The permit and the plans were not on site. Did take pictures to meet with zoning to check if the amount of parking spots taken were approved due to the amount and the blocking of the entrance to enter into the property. Did have a light plant on the right a way area next to a utility pole and was asked to move the light plant to the parking area. Had banner flags in the right a way area and were asked to remove due to no permit will be issued to have on the property. The person on site was trying to make contact with the owner of the business to check if the permits were some where to check to the location of the tent. Will do research on the permit. The wife of the owner did call and gave a permit number to check for the site plan. RV. |
