11/27/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The property is vacant and unsecured. Did call Arcaiden Industries to have the rear door re-secured. Nothing has been done to have the property cleaned up. The interior of the house is lacking some of the items by being taken from the property. Did talk to the neighbors and they are saying that the son of the owner is coming to the property to remove items from the house. At this time the person working with the son who has stated that she is the girl friend, the phone number is not working. The refrigerator is removed, the stove is removed and some of the cabinets are removed. The water heater on the exterior has been removed. The bedrooms have been moved around and some of the mattresses have been moved to sleep on the floor. The chimney stack has been knocked down to the roof line and the bricks are on the ground. The neighbor stated that the son was on the roof trying to get the attena and that is when the stack was damaged. Appears that they were trying to gain entry into the house. Once the rear door was re-secured, the gate was locked with a chain and lock by the City of Tucson. Did try and call the girl friend and the not able to make contact due to the number in not working at this time. While talking to Daminian, he was on the property to secure the same door by T.P.D. on Wednesday 11-25-15. Will check in 10 days. RV.
10/20/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Have been in contact with the son of the owner and the girlfriend. Have gone over what has to be done to clean the property. Have been opening the gates to let them into the property. Have talk to them about piling the trash and debris on the exterior of the chain link fencing and then getting a dumpster to haul the trash and debris from the property. Did take Becky to the property to check on getting a dumpstrer to the site. Will keep checking and will check the property in 30 days. RV.
09/17/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The property is vacant and secured. Did meet Sylvia who is staying with George who is one of the sons of the owner. Did go over issues that need to be address such as cleaning the property, knocking down 2-porches that are not stable and not built correct, knock down a structure that is the rear of the property detached from the house that is not completed and has issues the way it was built, if the structure is to remain on the property will need to provide a permit and inspected by Planning and Development Services Department, the main electrical services needs to be upgraded due to age and double lugging in the disconnect and the added box on the bottom of the main disconnect, the windows needs to all be operable with locks and able to open and close with out getting stuck, smoke detectors in all the sleeping and common areas, and the electrical will need to be checked once the electrical has been restored to the property. Once the house is opened and the work has been done will need to check the house for min. housing condition before the house can be occupied. Did let the friend know that the electrical has to be done by a license contractor for electrical. She will get with the son to let him know what has to be done to try and get into the house. I have been in contact with Sylvia due to she wanted to know what has to be done to get into the house to live in. Will keep the same follow up date on 10-19-15. RV.

07/24/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The house is still vacant and the rear security door has been pulled off the brick wall leaving the house opened. The rear window on the west side has the plywood pulled off and the window has been opened. The interior has signs that someone is staying in the house. Did call Arcaiden Industries to have the openings re-secured. Did check all the other openings and all is secured. Will keep the same follow up date on 8-17-15. RV.
07/17/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The house is vacant and secured. Some of the items that were left out on the property have been removed. Some clothing that were in trunks have been taken from the property. This property is being monitored for break-ins. Will check in 30 days. RV.
06/29/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Received call from the Joepsh from the office and has calls that the house is opened and people are in it. Did get approval Per Rick Saldate my supervisor to have the building secured. Arrived and found 2-males on the property and the rear window has the plywood on the ground where pulled off. Did call Arcaiden Industries to have the window opening resecured. Was able to use the same plywood and added more pins. The male that was on the property did yell into the house to make sure no one is in the house. No one came out. One male did leave while doing the board up and when the other male was asked to leave, he refused. Did go over the he needed to leave the property and stated that he was asked to leave the house due to condemned but the property was not condemned. Did advised that T.P.D. was going to be called to the property and he stated to call and will not be leaving. T.P.D. did arrive and went over that the male needed to leave due to the property has been condemned. The officers did talk to the male with getting information and trying to call the owner listed for the property. The officers were able to locate the owner or call the owner. The male was asked for the phone number for the owner or the son and he stated that it's in his phone and never gave a phone number. The sargent for T.P.D. did show and the male was asked to leave the property. Once the male left the site the gates were locked with City of Tucson locks. Posting are still in place on the west side and in the front of the house on the exterior. Will check in 10 days. RV.
06/18/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property at 7:30 AM and found 2-people in the shed in the rear yard that is detached from the house. A female ran and jump the chain link fence in the rear and ran down the alley. Talk to the male and than asked him to leave the property. Did find 2-males in the house and one was not feeling well and called T.F.D. to the site and he was sent to the hospital by transport. The other male stated that he was working on the property and he was lounging in the living room area when arriving on the property. Did check the interior of the house and found a propane stove with a tank in the kitchen area over the stove. The rear security door has a double key deadbolt with no key on site. Had water in 5-gallon buckets in the dinning room area and one bucket was used for human waste. The door to the bedrooms was locked and the male stated he has no key to open the door. The house is lacking electrical for lack of payment and tampering and cut at the pole. The water is off for lack of payment and tampering and has a citation pending for signatures. The gas meter is pinned for lack of payment. Did let the male know that he could remove items out of the house due to the house was being condemned and going to be secured by boarding all the windows and securing the metal security doors. He said OK. Will give 2-hours to remove the items and will come back to secure the property. RV.
06/18/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Did get with Rick Saldate the supervisor and discussed what was found on the property and given permission to have the property secured. Did call Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured. Had all the windows and doors secured. While doing the securement did have people coming to the property and trying to visit the worker or tenant. Did 6-windows and 3-doors openings. Did the posting of "Do Not Enter" on the front and the side of the house. Did the posting of the Notice of Violation and the Notice to Vacate on the front security door due to the tenant or worker did not want to sign the paper work. Did call the phone number of the owner on the paper work and not to the owner. Did go over that the tenant needed to leave the property and not able to be on the property at night. He wants to protest and file an appeal and showed on the posting that he has 10 days to file. The male at first stated that he was working on the property and now wants an appeal. Did go over that if the utilities are turned back on that the property can be occupied. Did go over the upgrade for the electrical will be required before the power can be turned back on. Left the site with the owner waiting for a ride or some one to get him to where he is going to stay. Will check in 10 days. RV.
