| 06/16/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Rick Saldate received a call that the property needed to be checked if being occupied with lacking utilities and sewage in the rear yard. Went to the property and found a male who stated that he is one of the brothers of the owner of the property. A male exited the property thru the rear of the property and out the gate and walked down the street. Did find all the utilities off at the meters due to lack of payment. Water has been off since 1-26-15, electrical has no meter and cut at the pole with possible tampering, and the gas pinned at the meter. The son stated that he is working on the property and no one in the house. Did find bedding in the shed with no door in the rear of the house. Has other sheds in the rear yard and one is being stripped of the wood and the other is full of trash and debris. Did find neddles on the ground with beer bottles and cans through out the property. Did let the owner know that due to lacking all the utilities that no one can stay in the house and that the house will be checked at different times to check if occupied. If any one found in the house that is occupying, that the house will be secured. The securement would be boarding all the windows and pinning the doors shut so no one could enter the house. Did look at the electrical disconnect and has double lugging on the main and the added box below the main disconnect also has double lugging. Did go over that electrical has to be upgraded before the power can be turned back on. Will require a permit and inspection for the reconnect of the electrical once the permit has been finaled or cleared for the reconnect. The property will be monitored. RV. |
