06/04/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received a call from communication that T.P.D. on site with a car thru building. Arrived and the car is still in the building. Did check the damage and the vehicle was able to be removed. The vehicle was driven out and parked in the driveway for towing and had to wait for the tow truck. The vehicle hit the side door to the excersie room or work out room. There was a fix panel of plywood and glass on the side of the door and were brokened. The car hit in-between 2-steel post that were not damaged. The steel post were rapped with 1x and a wood frame was made for the door and the glass which was all damaged and removed. The owner gave permission to have the area secured. The owner has talk to the insurance and is aware of the accident. There was damage to the wood floor where a bell fell from the impact. The business was able to remain opened and went over that the wood floor needs to be cleaned several times and use a dust mop due to the glass that was on the wooden floor and the people walk barefoot when in the room or area. The owner of the business signed the paper work due to the owner of the property left the property. Arcaiden Industries was called the the site to secure the opening 6' 8" x 8' 2". Did go over if the glass is on the floor level that the glass needs to be tempered and safety glass on top. Once secured left the site. No permit is required to install the door and the glass like for like unless changes are made from what it was before the existing. Will check in 10 days. RV.
