| 05/25/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were clearing the site. The fire was in the kitchen over the stove. Stove was left on and what was on the stove started to burn. Some of the drywall behind the stove was burned, the kitchen cabinets have some burning around the microwave and the microwave is a total lost from the fire. Has smoke damage in the kitchen and some on the exposed beams and rafters with wood siding for sheathing. The electrical was removed at the meter due to not able to find maintenance on site. The microwave was all burned and the cord was removed. The stove was still connected and not able to find any maintenance man on the property or any one who works for the property to move the stove and disconnect the stove. The owner was not able to stay in the unit and will call her daughter to stay with. The owner did sign the paper work and gave card to call. The owner was going to lock the door when she gets the items she needs for the night. She will be meeting with the management in the morning to get the unit cleaned and the stove and the microwave moved out of the unit. TEP did blank the meter for the electrical and will need a permit for the power to be turned back on. Has no gas to the unit. The unit has a sprinkler system and did not go off. Will come back tomorrow to take pictures. RV. |
