Received a call from communication that T.P.D. on site with a car thru building. Arrived and a car hit the masonry arch in the front of the building going to the patio that goes into the main building. The main building is OK. The masonry arch has a crack where the arch meets the straight portion to the ground level. The business is able to remain opened at this time. Did meet with the manager and went over if the arch is removed, will need a permit to have replaced. If the cracks are patched, will need paper work that the arch is OK from the contractor or a structural engineer stating that the work done is OK to remain. The manger signed the paper work and will call if need to talk to the contractor. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
