05/14/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the unit was ready to leave and had a fire on the exterior of the house. The fire was burning of cuttings tall grass and weeds with tree branches and limbs and bushes that were cut from the rear yard. The fire did burn some of the wood siding on the storage room to the carport but did not enter the interior of the storage room or the house. All the burning is surface or smoke damage. There was no damage to where the material has to be removed or replace. Able to just paint over the damaged areas from the fire including the entire wood surfaces through out the property. T.F.D. did have concerns for the interior of the house of the amount of storage inside the house. Did meet with the owner and she allowed me to check the interior of the house. Did find no clear paths to all the doors and windows and could only enter one bedroom in the rear where the owner was staying. The bathroom in the master bedroom is cleared at this time and able to use. The other bedrooms, living room, dinning room and the kitchen are not able to enter due to the amount of storage in the areas. Did let the owner know that she will not be allowed to remain in the house until the clear path are met. Did do the posting of "Do Not Enter" on the front window. The owner signed all the paper work. The owner did request that if she brought workers in to clean the house could she remain in the house. The inspector did advise that if the house is checked at 5:00 PM and the clear paths are cleared, that the owner can remain in the house. She agreed and she called workers to come and clean the property. Before leaving the site, 4-workers showed to help the owner. Will check the property at 5:00 PM pending approval from supervisor. RV.
