06/23/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH MARGRET PACHO AND HUSBAND STEVE. FOUND ENTIRE PROPERTY AND ABUTTING SIDEWALK AREAS FREE OF ALL GRASS AND WEEDS. MARGRET STATED THEY HAD PAYED THE ELECTRIC BILL, IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING THE WATER CURRENT, AND ARE GETTING BIDS FOR A NEW FENCE IN FRONT, AND THEY HAVE PAYED THE BOARD UP BILL. THEY STATED THEIR PLAN IS TO GET A DUMPSTER SO THEY COULD REMOVE THE SHED IN THE REAR YARD AND THE DEBRIS INSIDE THE SHED. AT THE SAME TIME THEY WOULD LIKE TO START CLEANING THE INTERIOR OF THE MAIN STRUCTURE. I DID ALLOW ENTRY INTO THE HOUSE, REMOVED THE REAR BOARD AND WALKED THE STRUCTURE WITH STEVE PACHO AND WHEN DONE SCREWED THE BOARD BACK ON THE OPENING.
** PRIOR TO INSPECTING THE PROPERTY I DID SPEAK WITH WILLIAM NAVARRO WHO INFORMED HE THAT ON 6/05/15 HE HAD ALLOWED THE ORIGINAL TENANT ENTRY TO REMOVE HIS CLOTHES AND OTHER MINOR PERSONEL BELONGING. WILLIAM STATED THERE WERE NO LARGE ITEMS REMOVED FROM INSIDE. NO BEDS, DRESSERS APPLIANCES ETC....
**SPOKE WITH RICK SALDATE ABOUT THE PROPERTY AND PROGRESS THAT HAS BEEN MADE AND THE PLANS ON MOVING FORWARD, RICK FELT WE NO LONGER NEEDED TO MONITOR THE PROPERTY FELT THAT SISTER MARTHA PACHO HAD THINGS UNDER CONTROL. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
05/15/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Grass and weeds abated. Structure remains secure. Little else done.

04/20/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND GRASS AND WEEDS ON THE SOUTH , EAST AND WEST SIDES CUT AND PILED IS SEVERAL PILES. CLEAN UP IN THE REAR YARD HAD BEEN STARTED BUT NOT YET COMPLETED. AGREED WITH DESEASED OWNERS DAUGHTER TO ALLOW ADDITIONAL TIME AS LONG AS PROGRESS WAS MADE. ASKED OWNERS TO CLEAN UP THE EXTERIOR AND THEN ENTRY INTO THE STRUCTURE WOULD BE ALLOWED. A 5/15/15 F/U INSPECTION SCHEDULED.
04/09/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH DAUGHTER MARGRET PACHO OF DECEASED OWNERS SALAZAR AND MARIA VEGA. MARGRET EXPLAINED THAT HER BROTHER MARTY USED TO LIVE IN THE HOUSE BUT PASSED AWAY 12 MONTHS AGO AND HER FAMILY ALLOWED MARTY'S SON TO STAY THERE AFTER THE FATHERS DEATH. ANTONIO (SON) HAS BEEN LIVING IN THE HOUSE FOR QUITE SOME TIME, MARTHA STATED SHE WAS UNAWARE OF THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE AS ANTONIO DID NOT WANT THEM COMING BY.
WITH MARTHA PACHO WAS HER HUSBAND MARIANO PACHO, RETIRED MILITARY AND RETIRED FROM RAYTHEON. I SUGGEST TO MARIANO THAT WE NOT ENTER THE STRUCTURE TODAY. I SUGGEST HE MAY ALSO WANT TO BOARD ALL THE WINDOWS THAT REMAINED UNBOARDED DUE TO THE POSTING OF THE PROPERTY AND LOCATION/ AREA OF THE PROPERTY. I ASKED THAT THEY FIRST CLEAN THE EXTERIOR OF THE PROPERTY REMOVING ALL TRASH AND DEBRIS, AND CUT ALL OVER GROWN GRASS AND WEEDS, AND REMOVE DEAD VEGETATION AS WELL AS FIXING THE FRONT PORTION OF THE FENCE THAT IS FALLEN. I ALSO SUGGESTED THAT WHEN THE EXTERIOR WAS COMPLETED THEN WE REMOVE BOARDED DOORS SO THAT THE INERIOR COULD THEN BE ADDRESSED BUT ONLY AFTER COMPLETION OF THE EXTERIOR. (SHED IN THE REAR YARD IS DELAPITATED AND MAY NEED TO COME DOWN) MARIANO PACHO AGREED AND STATED HE WILL PROBABLY START THE CLEAN UP THIS WEEK END AND ESTIMATED TWO WEEKS TO CLEAN THE PROPERTY .
*** MARGARET ASKED THAT ANTONIO NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE PROPERTY UNLESS TPD, MARIANO, OR BOTH ARE ON SITE WITH DNR.
