03/25/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with an apartment fire. Arrived and the fire was still be going and being worked on. Did check building to what building was on fire and was building #20. The power was turned off to building #18 and checked to have the power turned back on to let the occupants back into the units. The power was on and let the occupants back in. Building #23 had the power on and did check the units due to some had heat damage through the windows. Once it was determine that building #20 was going into fire watch, were able to let the tenants in into building #23 once all were checked. Some had cracked windows and the vinyl blinds were melted in the middle units of the building on 1st and 2nd floor. Building #20 had the power off and will remain off until the units are checked at daylight time. Due to the fire watch going to be done, was going to leave the site and will be called back once the fire watch is going to be removed and the investigation done. No fencing will be done until daylight. Did meet with the manager about the fire watch and was given permission to fence the property due to not able to find anyone to fence the area. Will meet the manager in the daylight time due to the fire watch. RV.
