02/12/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Recieved a call from Norma from office that T.F.D. on site with a mobile home fire. Arrived and all the unit had cleared the scene and the fire investigators were on site. The electrical was suppose to be turned off due to lack of payment but fire indicated that the electrical was on. The fire units arrived and turned the breaker off and had a meter. T.E.P. removed the meter and blanked the pedistal. The gas meter has been pinned for lack of payment. The fire was at the main entrance where light switches and a outlet were place in the wall which were damaged. The fire damaged approx. 3' wide x 6' high to wood siding, wood studs and drywall. The front door was not damaged and was able to lock the door. Bathcrest was called to the site to cover the opening left by the fire. The owner of the trailer was not able to secure the opening and gave permission to call Bathcrest. The owner will wait for the bill to make arrangements to pay for the board up. The owner has issues with the blocking of clear passages to all the doors and windows with boxes and stored items in the mobile home. Did check the refrigerator and the food was cold and the freezer had frozen items being stored in the freezer. This indicated that the power was on to the mobile home at the time of the fire. Redcross was called for placement due to not able to make contact with the daughter. A helper for the property was at the site and was going to let the owner of the property and the manager aware of the fire. Did give copies of the agency that do repairs to check if they can be assisted on the repairs Will check in 30 days. RV.
