MINOR COMPLETION OF WORK AROUND BUILDING A IS REQUIRED BEFORE A C OF O FOR OCCUPENCY IS CONSIDERED, THIS WILL INCLUDE BUT IS NOR LIMITED TO: 1) COMPLERTE ALL WORK ADJACENT TO THE AREA NEEDED TO MEET ALL ZONING AND ENGINEERING NEEDS FOR THIS BUILDING. THIS WILL INCLUDE ALL THE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS SIDEWALKS AND ANY OF THE PARKING SPACES THAT ARE NEEDED TO SUPPORT THIS OCCUPENCY. 2) BLOCK OFF ALL AREAS THAT ARE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION ADJACENT TO THIS SITE. THESE WILL NEED TO BE FENCED OFF FROM ANY ACCESS INTO THE WORK ZONE. 3) I HAVE RAISED AN ISSUE OF THERE BEING A 60 INCH DROP OFF TO THE LOWER FLOOR OF EVERY BUILDING IN AND NEAR ADJACENT PEDESTRIAN PATHS THROUGHOUT THE SITE.. THIS IS A HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE THAT WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL PRIOR TO THE GRANTING OF THE C OF O FOR EACH BUILDING. ADDITIONAL HAND RAIL MAY NEED TO BE CONSTRUCTED TO PREVENT ACCESS INTO THE OPEN SPACES THAT ALLOWS ACCESS TO THE 60" DROP OFFS. FOR ALL OTHER SITES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE MENTIONED DURING THIS INSPECTION 1) HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE ACCESS TO ALL THE LOWER APARTMENTS WHERE THERE IS A 60 DROP OFF FROM THE COURT YARD AREAS. 2) COMPLETE ALL WORK ADJACENT TO THE SITE THAT IS BEING REQUESTED FOR THE TEMP C OF O. 3)ENSURE PROPER DRAINAGE THROUGHOUT THE SITE TO ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ISSUES. 4) INSTALL ALL PAVERS AS NEED ON THIS SITE AT THE BOTTOMS OF ALL STAIRWAYS AND HAVE THESE AREAS CONNECT TO THE ADA ACCESSIBLE PATHWAYS THROUGHOUT THE SITE.. THIS IS NOTED MOSTLY IN THE GRASSY COUTYARD AREA ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE SITE AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE BUILDINGS. 5) GENERAL SITE CLEANUP OF ALL THE AREAS ASSOCIATED WITH EACH OF THE BUILDINS AS IT IS BEING REQUESTED FOR THE PARTIAL OF FINAL RELEASE OF THE BUILDING C OF O. |
