REGARDING WALL SIGN:
1) Revise plans to enlarge all type/font to minimum of 12 point for scanning.
2) Per SC 3-18, list total sign area on sheets 1 & 2 - use feet in decimals.
3) Per SC 3-18, & NEC 600, call out amperage, number of circuits. Clarify where disconnect switch is - on the side of the sign??
4) Per SC 3-18, identify size/number/type of screws used for mounting, and type of wall surface to be penetrated.
5) Per O.L.C., 403.5.1 The means of controlling the specific "off" curfew shall be by a 24 hour timing device that includes stand-by power to maintain the time and program for a minimum of 6 hours. *Provide timer notation on plans.*

REGARDING POLE SIGN - PROPOSED CHANGE OF COPY:

6) SC 3-61 C.6. lists pole sign requirements: "When allowed: Allowed only when there is a minimum of two hundred twenty- five (225) feet of street frontage, or one hundred twenty-five (125) feet of street frontage and four (4) or more business addresses." Site had 6 tenant suites. Recent combination of addressing and electrical work under permit T14CM00975 indicates site change to sole occupancy. While the property had sufficient street frontage (at 136 linear feet along Oracle Road) for a pole sign with 4 or more tenants, the site has insufficient street frontage for a singular user to have a pole sign. This single site occupant proposal would require removal of the sign, or possible modification of the pole sign to meet current code as a monument or low-profile sign.

GENERAL:
7) Revised plans can be emailed to reviewer. In the interest of saving time during freestanding sign evaluation, contractor may request the wall sign and freestanding sign proposal to be split into two permits.
