THE DRYER CAUGHT FIRE ALONG WITH THE WASHER.. THE DAMAGE TO THE MOBILE HOME WAS MINIMAL SOME HEAT DAMAGE TO THE SKIN A LITTLE DISCOLORATION BUT STILL IN TACT. THE SUPPORT PLYWOOD TO THE WINDOW MOUNTED AC UNIT DID BURN. THE EXTERIOR COVER TO THE 110V OUTLET WITH A DUPLEX RECEPTACLE DID MELT, THIS RECEPTACLE IS NOT GFCI RECEPTACLE. ADJACENT TO THE 110V OUTLET IS A 220V OUTLET ENCLOSURE WHICH HAS A 30 AMP RECEPTACLE. THE ENCLOSURE IS NOT RATED FOR OUT DOOR USE AND THE NON METALLIC SHEATHED CABLE FOR THE DRYER IS EXPOSED AND NOT PROTECTED. THE LIFE LINE TO THE UNIT WAS UN PLUGGED. THE PEDESTAL IS NOT MARKED NOR IS THE BREAKERS INSIDE THE DISCONNECT. THE INTERIOR PANEL TO THE MOBILE HOME IS LOCATED IN THE CLOSET, THERE ARE 6 BREAKERS ALL NOT MARKED AND THEY ALL ARE SINGLE POLE 30 AMP BREAKERS. THE UNIT WAS CONDEMNED UNFIT TO OCCUPY. |
