VISITED SITE, MET WITH TPD OFFICER ALTIMIRANO WHO INFORMED ME THAT THE SIVER FOR ESCAPE WAS TURNING OFF OF PIMA ST ONTO N WIMOT RD, MISSED THE TURN, JUMPED THE MEDIAN, CROSSED OVER WILMOTS SOUTH BOUND LANE DOWN THE APT EMBANKMENT, HIT A LIGHT POLE AND ENTERED THE S/E CORNER OF UNIT # 109.

MET WITH MAINTANENCE SUPERVISOR SID GALLEGOS WHO MENTIONED THEY WOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR BOARDING THE DAMAGED WALL, AND REPAIR THE DAMAGED LIGHT POLE RIGHT AWAY. MR GALLEGOS INFORMED ME THAT IF NECESSARY THEY COULD BUT THE OCCUPANT UP IN THE CORPORATE MANAGERS UNIT AND THAT POWER HAS ALREADY BEEN TURNED ON IF THE OCCUPANTS SO CHOOSES TO RELOCATE TEMPORARILY.
MET WITH UNIT #109 TENANT SONJA CAMPOS WHO LIVES THERE WITH HER INFANT SON, MENTIONED NOBODY WAS IN THE ROOM AT THE TIME OF INPACT. IN THE S/E BDRM I FOUND DAMAGE TO THE DRYWALL AT THE S/E CORNER OF THE ROOM. THE FRAMED CORNER RETURN IN THE WALL HAD BEEN DAMAGED, THE BOTTOM OF THE STUDS CRACKED AND SPLINTERED AND THE RETURN STUDS DISPLACED FROM THE BOTTOM PLATE. DAMAGED DRYWALL WASH LOCATED CLOSER TO THE FLOOR AREA, I REMOVED PORTIONS OF THE DRYWALL AND PULLED INSULATION OUT BUT COULD NOT FIND ANY ELECTRICAL WIRING IN THE DAMAGED AREA ALTHOUGH THERE DWERE TWO OUTLETS, ONE ON EITHER WALL ABOUT 6 FT FROM THE CORNER AREA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM. EXPLAINED TO TENANT THAT DUE TO THE DAMAGE AND NECESSARY REPAIRS THAT SHE WOULD NEED TO RELOCATE TO THE CORPORATE UNIT BUT COULD COME AND GO AS NEEDED. TENANT DID ELECT TO SUE THE CORPORATE UNIT WHICH WAS MADE READY BY THE TIME I ARRIVED.

> CORNER POST AND RETURN STUD AT S/E CORNER OF THE APT WAS CRACKED AND SPLINTERED AND DISPLSACED FROM THE BOTTOM PLATE.
> INTERIOR DRYWALL DAMAGE WILL RESULT IN A 3-4 FOOT BY 8 FT DRYWALL REPAIR BOTH SOUTH AND EAST WALL.
> EXTERIOR STUCCO DAMAGE WILL ALSO RESULT IN A 3-4 FT BY 8 FT STUCCO REPAIR.
> NO ELECTRICAL WIRING / OUTLET DAMAGE COULD BE VERIFIED ALTHOUGH THERE WERE 2 OUTLETS WITHIN 6 FT FROM THE CORNER LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF EAST AND SOUTH WALL. LIGHT POLE DAMAGE IF MINIMAL AND WIRES IN THE POLE WERE CAPPED. (LOW VOLTAGE WIRING)

NOV WAS ISSUED, PERMITS ARE REQUIRED AND NOV WAS SIGNED BY ASSISTANT MANAGER JESSICA SPARKS. TPD HAD CAR REMOVED BY FRONTIER TOWING. MANAGEMENT WILL SECURE THE OPENING.
