OCCUPANT DANIEL LISTON STATED APPROX 7:00 PM WATER BEGAN LEAKING THRU THE CEILING AND INTO LIGHT FIXTURES, HALLWAY AREA WAS COMPLETELY SATURATED, CARPET SOAKED. MAINTANENCE STATED THE OCCUPANTS ABOVE WERE NOT HOME, THEY OPENED THE UNIT AND FOUND A FLEX HOSE TO THE KITCHEN SINK HAD BLOWN OFF THE FIXTURE. IT WAS THE FITTING AT THE END OF THE FLEX LINE THAT CAMEOFF, THEY HAD ALREADY REMOVE AND REPLACED THE FLEX LINE WITH A NEW LINE. FRANCISCO ALSO CONTACTED CLEANING SPECIALTY TO COMPLETE THE WATER EXTRACTION AND DRYING OUT OF THE CARPETS FOR BOTH UNITS 41 AND 42. CLEANING SPECIALTY WAS CONTACTED, THEY WERE AT THE SHOP PICKING UP FLOOR FANS AND EXPECTED TO ARRIVE IN APPROX 30 MINUTES. A UNIT, C35 WAS BEING PREPARED FOR THE OCCUPANTS IN I41 TO STAY FOR THE NIGHT. WATER HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE LIGHT FIXTURES, I EXPALINED TO OCCUPANT THAT MAINTANENCE HAD COVERED ALL ISSUES BY THE TIME OF MY ARRIVAL. I GAVE MY CONTACT INFO TO THE OWNER AND ASKED HE CALL IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER ISSUES. ** DISCUSSED WITH SUPERVISION AND AGREED TO OPEN AND CLOSE CASE. |
