Arrived and the tree has fallen onto the stairway and not allowing access to the units from the ground level. The complex did have the insurance company on site and was in the process of cutting the tree to give access to the upper units. All the occupants have been removed from the units on the upper section and staying in other units or with family. The building has some damage to the stucco and the roof edge on the top of the parapet. There is no structual damage to the building other than the stairway damaged on the railings. The insurance company will be making the railing safe by straighting the rails or blocking the areas that will be removed due to the damage and not able to be straightend out. The units were posted of "Do Not Enter" until the area has been made safe to enter the upper units. The management will call when the opening has been cleared. Will check in 5 days. RV. |
