Arrived and a person was stuck in the elevator on the second floof in building B. The door was forced opened and was not able to close. Some of the parts came apart when the door was forced opened. T.F.D. not having any luck with the management responding. Did get all the phone numbers to call and while outside to call found the elevator company on site. Did show where the door was damaged and the tech. got the door to close. He was not able to repair the door due a part was broken and did not have in the van he was driving. The tech. will go back in the morning and will get the part from the office. All the doors to the elevator were taped off with caution tape. The door on the second floor was close to prevent entry into the elevator. Signs were posted on all the button for the elevator Not in use and on the doors also Not in use. The tech. did check the supply room for the part and did not have in some boxes on the floor for the elevator. Will check in the morning. RV. |
