Arrived and advised that the site was going into crime scene due to had a fatility. A 26' cargo truck hit the masonry wall at the rear of the property and damage the rear of the house near the dinning room area. Broke the 5' sliding glass door, a 4040 XO window and made holes in the 1-coat stucco with foam. Wood studs have been broken by the window area. The house was Section 8 and not able to make contact with the office. The owner has been told but not able to make contact. The property will be condemn due to the damage on the rear of the house and the Red Cross has been called to the site to have the occupants placed. The electric meter was blanked at the meter and the gas line was removed near the sidewalk due to not able to get to the meter due to the damage. SWG will be comming back at a later time to due the survey and the line test due to not able to be done due the crime scene investigation. Did call the office to check if they could go to the Section 8 office to make contact with them to let them know that the tenants will not be able to be in the house due to the damage. The house has no gas or electric. The owner signed all the paper work and gave permission to have the openings secured. The owner was from out of town and showed at the end while moving the vehicle from the site. The opening in the masonry walls have been left opened due to the pool on the property has been drained and has no water in the pool. All the broken block is scattered through out the property. The holes were made by the broken block flying in the air from the impact of the truck hitting the masonry wall. The tenants were going to remove items for the night and will be getting with Section 8 tomorrow on getting another location to move to. The tenants have made arrangements with the Red Cross if a longer time is needed. The tenants will be locking the house when they leave and will check in 30 days. RV. |
