She explianed that TFD had been in several times however she was not completely forthright with her interaction with TFD. I witnessed a very antiquated hood system over the north cooking appliance and a somewhat less antiquated system over the south cooking appliance, a flat-top griddle. Both hoods had fire suppression systems in place and each had been inspected recently as per fire code. I could not identify any immediate hazzards and explained to the owner I would need to contact TFD to gather more insite for myself being requested to inspect the property. After speaking with Inspector Bigg and Captain Morgan of TFD I was made aware of and ongoing case with the owner of the restaurant to update the fire suppression systems in both hoods to comply with code changes. TFD was at the end of it's benevolence with the owner and was scheduled to return on August 15th and "red-tag" her cooking appliances and prohibit use until the fire suppression systems were code compliant.
