07/30/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, STRUCTURE WAS VACANT. WALKED AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE STRUCTURE, FOUND ONLY MINOR PATCHING OF CRACKS IN THE STUCCO. EXTERIOR APPEARED TO NEED WORK. IMPROPER MATERIALS OF THE FRONT PORCH DECK. LOOKED IN ALL THE WINDOWS AND SAW ONLY THE CLEANING PERSON IN THE KITCHEN AREA (SPANISH SPEAKING ONLY) SHE DID ALLOW ENTRY INTO THE STRUCTURE, THERE WAS NO FURNITURE, THE HOUSE WAS CLEAN, I DID FIND ONE SHEET OF DRYWALL INSIDE BUT AS I WALKED THE HOUSE I COULD NOT SEE WHERE THEY WOULD BE PATCHING OR USING THE DRYWALL. INTERIOR WALLS AND CEILINGS WERE PLASTER. DID FIND A DAMAGED AREA OF PLASTER IN THE KITCHEN APPROX 3' X 3' BUT NEEDED TO BE REPLASTERED. FOUND NO REPAIRS OR DEMOLITION THAT HAD BEEN DONE THAT WOULD REQUIRE A PERMIT.
** WHILE WALKING THE STRUCTURE I DID SEE A SECOND REAR BUILDING AND A "FOR RENT" SIGN ON THE FRONT FENCE THAT DIVIDED THE FRONT AND REAR YARDS. DROVE AROUND TO THE REAR, DID NOT FIND AN ADDRESS BUT I BELIEVE IT WAS ADDRESSED TO SOUTH RAILROAD AVE. I LOOKED INSIDE, IT WAS ALSO VACANT, FOR RENT, AND PROPERLY SECURED. DID NOT APPEAR ANY WORK WAS BEING DONE AT THIS PROPERTY EITHER. NO VIOLATION / CLOSE CASE.
