06/24/2014 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, MET WITH MANAGER GLADY'S OLIVAS WHO MENTIONED SHE WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, EXTERMINATOR WAS ALREADY OUT TWICE AND THE HEALTH DEPT WAS ALSO OUT TODAY. SPOKE WITH THE PESON FROM PIMA COUNTY HEALTH WHO CONFIRMED SHE HAD BEEN OUT BUT WAS TO RETURN LATER WITH A SECOND INSPECTOR FOR A BETTER DETERMINATION. I VISITED STHE SITE, MET WITH THE OWNER AND INSPECTED THE APT BUT COULD NOT FIND ANY BUGS BECAUSE SHE HAD ALREADY CLEANED THE CARPET WITH BORIC ACID. TENANT DID PROVIDE A BAG WITH DEAD BUGS INSIDE THAT SHE HAD FOUND. OCCUPANT ALSO MENTIONED THAT MANAGER HAS ALLOWED HER TO STAY IN A OPEN UNIT AT TIMES WHEN NEEDED. ** RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE HEALTH DEPT. STATING THAT THEY HAD FOUND THE BUGS WERE COMING FROM THE SAND AT THE PLAY BOX. CATS WERE USING IT FOR THEIR LITTER BOX AND PCHD ASKED MANAGER TO SPRAY. RECEIVED A CALL FROM MANAGEMENT THAT NORTHWEST EXTERMINATING HAD ALREADY CALLED AND SCHEDULED A TIME TO SPRAY. NOV WAS NOT REQUIRED. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
