06/05/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were starting to clear the site. The investigators were on site checking for cause. The electrical and the gas was removed at the meters. The fire was in the northwest bedroom and went into the hallway and the bedroom next to it. The house has heavy smoke damage through out. The ceilings and walls have been pulled down of plaster with drywall lathing to check for fire. A vent hole cut on the roof and the rafters were cut on both sides. The window was broken and missing the frames of a casement window. Did call the owner to come to the site and he never showed. Did call again and the son finally showed and did go to the wrong site. The son signed all the paper work and will be working with the tenant to move the items out of the house. The son will be locking the house. The tenant was removing some of the items while on site. The Redcross was working on the placement of the tenants. Will check in 60 days. RV.
