05/09/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Did look for the property pins and was not able to locate. The neighbor from 1120 had not seen any pins or any one doing a survey to locate the pins. Met with the contractor that the owner called at the site. Did show the wall that is leaning and the contractor has gone to the wrong address when the owner had called before. The contractor was agreeing that the wall can fall and needs to be blocked off or knocked down. The contractor was going to call the mason to check and get bids to remove the wall and will be determine on the distance when removing the wall. Did advise that the walll needs to be supported and not leaning or loose where not removed. The contractor stated that the wall is on this owners side. Once the contractor get the bids, he will call the owner to check if the wall is going to be removed or going to get bids from other contractors. Did call the owner of 1120 to go over if the wall is not going to be removed that somethin has to be done to have the area secured to prevent anyone getting near the wall on 1126 side in the rear yard. While talking to the owner she will be waiting for the contractor to call. Did let the owner of 1120 know that the wall needs to be removed and can decide what she will do with the wall if going to put it back up or replace it with a chainlink fence, wood panel or something else. Will wait for the owner of 1120 to decide on the removal or blocking off the area. RV.
05/07/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved I took pictures of both sides of the wall between the two properties. The wall is bowed and leaning into the property at 1126 E Glenn st. Spoke with the tenant and recieved a history report of the conditions.
