Fire caused by a person who discarded smoking material in a waste container located under the kitchen sink. Heat from the fire caused a water supply line to the sink to burst extinguishing the fire. Damage was limited to the base cabinet and water supply lines to the sink. There was some damage to the counter top and the dishwasher as well. No plumbing, electrical, mechanical or structural damage and no permits required for restoration. |
