| 03/25/2014 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Visited site and took pictures. Upon entering the structure it was evident that work was in progress. I observed new walls and stairs being installed. New stairway was in front of a non tempered window. The upper landing was redone with new framing and drywall. There is new duct work being installed in the new soffits. Both metal and flex duct is being used. There is a new A/C unit on the lower roof. I was told that there is a new unit on the upper roof. I did not have access. There is new gas piping across the roof and up and down the interior and exterior walls. New pex water piping is being used in the walls of the bathrooms. There is a new water heater installed that is not code compliant. There is no differentiation from hot to cold in the pipes. The new electrical wiring is date stamped 8/24/13. There are new boxes installed. It appears that new can lights have been installed. There are buried electrical conduit bodies in the wall. Portions of the electrical system are not code compliant. From the observation this inspector saw from the portions that were not covered by drywall there are numerous non-code compliant conditions. Any further covering of areas of construction with out inspections pose a hazard. |
