Date Description Inspector Results Comments
03/14/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call that the property has no water. Arrived and Tucson Water on site and the tenant has been tampering with the water and the meter. Currently has a water meter that belongs to another property and the meter was removed. Tucson Water has been dealing with this property since Sept. for non-payment. The water has been turned on several times with out making payment to Tucson Water. Due to the meter being removed the property will have no water at this time. At this time the property will be vacated and did a posting on the front window with the N.O.V. to vacate the property due to the tenant not on site. Did call Section 8 due to the property is listed as a Section 8. Did let Section 8 know that the tenant is not allowed on the property to stay but can come back on the property to get items they need or to move items out of the house. Did talk to the owner and he is aware of the situation of no water, tampering and the house is being vacated. The tenant did show on the property and she signed the N.O.V. and went over that she can not stay on the property. She did say that she will be getting a room at a hotel. Once the tenant signed the paper work, the inspector left the site and the owner was going to make sure the property is secured by dark. Did check what Section 8 was going to do and no supervisor on and the agent was off also. Did take pictures and the water was in the bathrooms in 5 gal. jugs. The tenant was told that once the water is back on they can move back into the house. They will need to meet with Section 8 on what else needs to be done to get back into the property. Will check in 10 days. RV.
