04/24/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Meet with owner to dicuss the NOV. Explained the the items and what needed to be done to correct. The electrical was looked at and determined that to seperate the unit as necessary that further work is to be done under a permit. The tenants are taking care of the back yars for the clean-up. The front yards are done at this time. The ant hill is gone.
03/12/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Inspector Goodman and myself visited the property. We spoke with the tenants in 301N Park and 949A E 8th St. The tenant in 949B E 8th St did not answer the door. We also called the owner and he is out of state and will be back 04-16-2014. Tenant in 301 is paying for the gas and electric for his space and 949B. The landlord pays for water. Tenant states that the heater does not reach all rooms. There is no cooler and 2 window A/C unit installed. He has lived there aprox. 25 years. It was stated that the hot water tank is in unit 301 for 949B and that unit. Tenant in 949A States he has lived ther over 12 years and the split was there when he moved in. He believes that the tenant in 949B has been ther over 18 years and was the maintance man.
