This building is fully sprinkled and the new canopy is not sprinkled and is attached to the building. You can not have combustible storage or cooking under a non-combustible canopy that is attached to a fully sprinkled building per NFPA 13 section 8.15.7.2, unless it is for pedestrian use only.
If sprinkler coverage is extended to include the new canopy, the grill may be placed under the canopy and combustible seating will be allowed.
