Remove surface mounted drop latch on exterior of Factory area door. This has the potential of locking a person in an area with no other exit. This door swings both directions and swings into the exith path andd when fully open in this position will entirely block the main exit door. This door may not be allowed to remain unless door is kept open ( with leaf inside of factory against wall) while temporary C of O is issued. This door is not on the approved plans and the specs on the door along with as-builds shall be submitted to the city for approval at development services counters ( including fire). 2. sliding doors infront of restrooms are also not on approved plans and need to be drawn to scale on plans and submitted for approval at DSD ( including fire counter) to include specs on doors. 3. Front exit door has two locking mechanisms. If thumb bolt is to remain, the handle with the lock inside it must be replaced with a dummy handle. ( Completed later today - NS 9/4/15) |
