| 08/21/2015 | FIRE - KITCHEN EXH HOOD FINAL | Partial Approval | Cintas permit approved. However, contractors electrician has installed an outlet that is under the hood ( in thought that appliance would need an ignitor). It is not tied into the microswitch and the electricity did not shut down. Rather than tie it in, the contractor has chosen to have the electrician remove the outlet since it is not needed ( the stove has a pilot). When outlet is removed, this inspection can be approved. | |
| 08/20/2015 | FIRE - KITCHEN EXH HOOD FINAL | Not ready for Inspection | Again, the general called in his inspection, but Cintas did not. Spoke with Wade who said that Andy was going to call it in yesterday. Andy then called me and said he will call it in for tomorrow. | |
| 08/19/2015 | FIRE - KITCHEN EXH HOOD FINAL | Not ready for Inspection | Cintas did not call in their permit for inspection. I called, spoke with Wade, who stated that they were not ready for an inspection yet. There was a switch missing on the gas and the gas could not yet be shut off when the hood activated. Also, the plans on tucson pro online ( could not find the plans in the files) show a 36 in charbroiler, but Wade states that they have a range at this site? I called the applicant who called for the hood final on the contractors permit and left a message stating that Cintas had not called in their permit because they were not ready and that I would not come out for the hood inspection. |
