Acknowledged the banner rods are already in place from last permit, however, it is required at each permit review to provide the following to demonstrate compliance with Sign Code Sections 3-43 & 3-57 and to allow additional departments to complete their review of the request for signage in the city right of way on city light poles: Provide location map showing where banners will be located on the city light poles. This will be reviewed by Transportation to determine if these poles are available. Provide start date for installation. Provide duration date. 60 days for special events or annual permit for continuous events. Provide construction specifications for the banner attachment to the poles. (Manufacturer specifications commonly used.) Such details should specify manufacturer and duration/life span of attachments such as 1 year, 5 year replacements are required. Provide elevation view - dimension banners to match application - and notation or elevation diagram to comply with 10' minimum clearance to bottom of each banner.
