THE EXISTING SIGN ON THE NORTHSIDE OF THE SITE IS ONLY 24 FEET SOUTH OF 22ND STREET, AND THE SIGN ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE SITE IS 29 FEET AND 6 INCHES WEST OF KOLB, THESE ARE SHOWN AS 30 FOOT SETBACKS. 2) THE SIGN LOCATIONS FOR SIGNS A AND B HAVE NOT BEEN MARKED IN THE FIELD, DEPENDING ON THE FINAL LOCATION THESE MAYBE ACCEPTABLE. 3) THE HEIGHT OF THE SIGNS AS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE REFLECTING THAT EACH SIGN WILL BE 10 FEET TALL MEASURED FROM THE EXISTING GRADE/TOP OF CURB. MODIFICATIONS IN THE HEIGHTS NEED TO BE SHOWN TO ENSURE THAT THE SIGNS DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT AT EACH LOCATION. FOR THE SIGN SOUTH OF 22ND STREET THERE IS A 2 TO 3 FOOT DIFFERENCE IN THE GRADES FROM THE TOP OF CURB TO THE EXISTING GRADES, DEPENDING ON WHICH LOCATION THE SIGN IS PLACED. FOR THE SIGN WEST OF KOLB THERE IS ONLY A 6 INCH GRADE DIFFERENCE FROM THE TOP OF CURB TO THE EXISTING GRADE AT THE NEWLOCATION.

1. Permitted locations: At major street entrances to the subdivision or a separately named portion of the recorded subdivision.
2. Maximum allowable sign area: Twenty (20) square feet.
3. Maximum number: Two (2) signs per street entrance.
4. Maximum faces: One (1) per sign.
Maximum height: Eight (8) feet from grade to top of sign.

Include dimensioned drawings of project identity signs and indicate on application along with setbacks on site plan.
09/19/2013 SIGN SITE REVIEW Correction Required Sec. 3-77. General business district.

Stand-alone premises:
(1) One (1) freestanding sign for each street frontage.

(2) One (1) additional freestanding sign on that street frontage for each additional one hundred fifty (150) feet of street frontage in excess of the first three hundred (300) feet.

(3) For each sign placed on the frontage of a local street, the total allowable number of freestanding signs for the arterial or collector street frontage shall be reduced by one.

(4) A "stand-alone premises" for the purposes of this subsection is a piece of land with definite boundaries, which includes the property and the buildings on it, and is separately owned from any other property.

A stand-alone premise must meet the on-site parking requirements under the Tucson Land Use Code without sharing parking with another premise and must provide its own ingress from and egress to the public right-of-way.
b. Strip development:

One freestanding sign per major arterial or collector street to identify the name of the strip development shopping center or for use as an occupant directory. In addition, one freestanding sign will be permitted for each self-contained premises, not to exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area.
